It may be hard to recognize the negative effects of our environment until something drastic happens in your life. You have to do a self examination and see what you come up with. Look at the people around you and see if that is the life you want for yourself. If you aren’t around motivated successful people you will not have the mindset needed to achieve.
Upgrading your life and growing as a person is the only way to make money like MLM leaders in our industry. Recently I listened to a webinar in which Daegan Smith highlighted how important that was. He made up his mind that he wanted to change for the better and he did. This does not only include the crowd you associate with. You need to train your brain to think like a person who is successful.
MLM Leaders Don’t Follow
There are many ways you can change your environment. It can be as simple as reading books from MLM leaders or other entrepreneurs who have made a lot of money. The more you expose yourself to their thoughts and ideas the more you will think like them. You can also read magazines that feature nice homes or cars that you may want. Train yourself to believe you can get these things if you work hard enough. Don’t adopt the normal concept of living below your means as most poor people do. Spend money wisely but you want to spend it to invest in yourself. All accomplished people never stop learning.
No matter how much money you have you have to continue to learn and invest in yourself. In what ever you do, you have to make sure you are in an environment that will have a positive effect on you. Remember that no matter how strong you are mentally, you are going to do what others around you do. The only way to overcome this problem is to use this knowledge to your advantage. This is the huge secret that MLM leaders know and it is why they are successful.
