There are thousands of people that try to pursue a network marketing career. Some stand out because they have already reached levels of success that everyone else is trying to get to. Daegan Smith stands out above most for a number of reasons. He calls himself the “King of never calling a single lead.” Many thought that was impossible but he shows that it is more than possible to build a huge downline without picking up the phone. First lets look at a little background information on MLM guru Daegan Smith. He did not exactly grow up saying “I want to be an Internet marketer.” He went to school and was a stand out athlete as a wrestler. But this was not his career choice either. He went to Duke and studied Biology and Chemistry. He graduated assuming that he would one day become a doctor. After graduating, he got a job as a pharmaceutical sales rep. The next thing that happens has happened to me and probably you too. You wake up thinking about work and image yourself doing the same thing over and over again for the next 10, 20 even 30 years. The idea of that can drive a person crazy and this is what was happening to him.

Continuing to work his day job was not an option. He chose to let that go and invest in a Washington DC apartment building. He failed miserably. He says this was the biggest financial mistakes of his. While at a real estate meeting, Daegan Smith came across another meeting that was about network marketing. He liked what he saw and immediately wanted to be apart of it.
The next step for him was to learn how to gain leverage with his target market. He is one of the few people that focuses mainly on using paid advertising strategies. He created “Maximum Leverage” to help other bring in the amount traffic and leads that he has been able to get. He has helped other MLM gurus such as Jonathan Budd to be successful. He tests all of his marketing strategies so the money he spends on advertising is never wasted.
